Becker Avionics To Establish US Manufacturing Presence For DVCS 6100

Coming Soon: Made In The USA!

Becker Avionics will establish manufacturing capabilities for their Digital Audio and Intercom System DVCS 6100 at its North American Subsidiary, Becker Avionics, Inc. in Miramar, Florida.

"The decision for establishing a US production line is monumental for the Becker Avionics Group, as we strengthen our presence in the US and take an important step towards becoming a fully recognized source for US Manufacturers and Operators when it comes to avionics equipment," said Mr. Roland Becker, President and CEO of the Becker Avionics Group. "We are committed long-term to strengthening our US presence as well as to serve the North and South American aviation markets more closely. "

"It is critical for us that we remain competitive in the biggest aviation market in the world," said Roland Becker. Our strategic decision for "Made in America" will further support our aggressive expansion plan in the US as we enter an exciting new phase for the Becker Avionics Group.

"Our staff was really thrilled when we made the decision to build-up the production capability in the US," stated Markus Schmitz, President/General Manager of Becker Avionics, Inc. "The local production capability will further strengthen our US employee base, support maintaining our edge and will bring significant economic activity to Becker Avionics, Inc.

"The new production line will accelerate the transformation of Becker Avionics, Inc., help us to ensure that we serve the American aviation markets more closely and of course will also support the US economy in these difficult economic times," said Roland Becker, President and Chief Executive Officer.

The DVCS 6100 has been designed for both rotary and fixed-wing applications, and fully reflects Becker Avionics' proven know-how of more than four decades in audio system development for the aerospace industry. Since the market introduction of the 1st DVCS generation, over 300 systems have been placed into service and have achieved outstanding field reliability.

The DVCS' performance and scalability has led to numerous installations in a diverse mix of rotary and fixed wing platforms, including, but not limited to the following models: BO105, EC135, EC145, MD900, Bell412, S-70A, DO228, MA-600, Pilatus PC9, L-410, King Air 350, DHC-5 Buffalo.
