Flight Options' Legacy Inventory Sold Out

Fractional Provider Is Pre-Selling New 2006 Legacy Aircraft

Flight Options, a provider of fractional shares in business aircraft and a Raytheon affiliate, says it's completely sold out of its current Legacy inventory and is actively selling fractional shares in 2006 models. Flight Options will take delivery of its first 2006 Legacy in February 2006, which is already half pre-sold, and another Legacy this coming May.

"The Legacy is the ideal large cabin aircraft offering comfort, efficiency and reliability – it truly is large cabin comfort at mid-size operating economics," said Michael Scheeringa, chief operating officer, Flight Options. "The fact that our first 2006 delivery is already more than half sold demonstrates to the industry that this is a much desired aircraft in the large cabin category."

Flight Options says it has the world's largest fleet of Legacy Executive aircraft. Company literature says the Legacy offers seating for up to 13 passengers, a range of up to 3,737 SM and operating costs that rival a mid-size aircraft. In addition, there is walk-in access to the 240 cubic feet of baggage space, the largest baggage volume in the Flight Options fleet. The Legacy entered the Flight Options fleet in 2003.

Flight Options offers hourly pricing on the Legacy. For flights greater than three (3) hours in duration, the hourly rate is $2,075 vs. $2,575 for flights less than three (3) hours.
