Upgraded: NetJets' Bianchi

NetJets Aviation Appoints Mark Bianchi as Senior VP of Aircraft Maintenance

NetJets Aviation announced has appointed Mark Bianchi to Senior Vice President of Aircraft Maintenance. Bianchi will assume responsibility for the day-to-day aircraft maintenance operation and administrative functions for the 378 aircraft in the NetJets Aviation fleet. Responsibilities include maintenance availability and reliability of all NetJets Aviation aircraft, including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, maintenance control and planning, all regional line and base maintenance stations, quality control and quality assurance, and the inventory and logistics supporting the maintenance operation.

Bianchi joined NetJets in 2004 after 18 years with US Airways, where he held several leadership positions, including Manager of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance, 737/757/767 Fleet Manager, and Base Maintenance Manager. Bianchi also worked as a Principal Engineer, Heavy Maintenance Production Supervisor, Maintenance Control Foreman and a Mechanic. At NetJets, Bianchi has held the position of Director, Line and Recovery Maintenance and General Manager, Maintenance Control.

Bianchi holds an associate's degree in applied science from the College of Aeronautics in New York City. He also holds an A & P Certificate, an FCC General Radio/Telephone Certificate, and is a General Electric Certified Six Sigma Green Belt.

NetJets Aviation is a wholly owned subsidiary of NetJets Inc. The operations center is located in Columbus, Ohio. All aircraft offered fractionally in the United States, with the exception of the Gulfstream large cabin and BBJ fleets, are operated by NetJets Aviation.
