Concorde Battery Corp. Introduces Two Lightweight Batteries

24 Volt Systems For Piston Engine Aircraft

Concorde Battery Corporation has developed two new, light weight 24 volt batteries for reciprocating engine aircraft. Both models have FAA Parts Manufacturing Approval.

RG24-9 & RG24-10 are light weight recombinant gas, AGM, RG Series batteries. They are designed for a two battery, two buss, two alternator / generator system to satisfy the requirement for a secondary system, FAR 135.163(F)(2), supporting electronic ignition systems and / or Glass Panel installations, Full Authority Digital Engine Control (FADEC), Electronic Engine Control (EEC), Electronic Flight Instrument System (EFIS); buss tied to run in parallel only for cranking or standby emergency power.

Concorde Battery is a designer and manufacturer of specialty lead acid batteries located in West Covina, California.  Concorde has over 25 years of experience in the manufacture of aircraft batteries for both military applications and commercial Type Certified aircraft. Concorde is the world's largest supplier of Original Equipment VRLA-AGM aircraft batteries to airframe manufacturers. The company is an FAA-PMA and TSO approved manufacturer of replacement parts for a wide variety of type certified aircraft, and is an ISO 9001:2004 and AS9100B facility.
