FDC 5/5688 ZOB PART 1 OF 2 FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS, DETROIT, MI. THE FOLLOWING FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS EFFECTIVE ON JULY 11 - 12, 2005 LOCAL, FOR THE BASEBALL HOME RUN DERBY AND MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL ALL-STAR GAME. PURSUANT TO 14 CFR SECTIONS 99.7, SPECIAL SECURITY INSTRUCTIONS, AND 91.139, EMERGENCY AIR TRAFFIC RULES. THE ABOVE RESTRICTION IS EFFECTIVE DURING THE FOLLOWING DATES AND TIMES. COMERICA FIELD LOCATED ON THE DETROIT VORTAC /DXO/ 068 DEGREE RADIAL AT 16 NM OR 422021N/0830257W, 0507112300 UTC (1900 LOCAL 07/11/05) TO 0507120500 UTC (0100 LOCAL 07/12/05) AND 0507122300 UTC (1900 LOCAL 07/12/05) TO 0507130500 UTC (0100 LOCAL 07/13/05). ALL AIRCRAFT AND PARACHUTE OPERATIONS ARE PROHIBITED WITHIN A THREE NAUTICAL MILE RADIUS AT AND BELOW 3000 FEET AGL OVER COMERICA FIELD UNLESS UNDER ATC CONTROL FOR ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE PROCEDURES AT AN AIRPORT ADJACENT TO THE STADIUM. THIS RESTRICTION DOES NOT APPLY TO: (A) THOSE AIRCRAFT AUTHORIZED BY ATC FOR OPERATIONAL OR SAFETY PURPOSES INCLUDING AIRCRAFT ARRIVING OR DEPARTING FROM AN AIRPORT USING STANDARD AIR TRAFFIC PROCEDURES; (B) DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE, LAW ENFORCEMENT, OR AEROMEDICAL FLIGHT OPERATIONS THAT ARE IN CONTACT WITH ATC.
