Yingling Aviation Expands Propeller Service

Adds Hartzell Propeller Capabilities To List Of Services

Yingling Aviation has expanded its already extensive propeller maintenance and service capabilities to include props manufactured by Hartzell Propeller, Inc. A highly regarded McCauley Propeller Authorized Service Center, Yingling has made a significant investment to acquire the tooling and training necessary to provide service for owners and operators of aircraft equipped with Hartzell propellers.

"In our continuing effort to provide the broadest range of services and capabilities to operators of propeller-driven aircraft in this region, we have taken the necessary steps to overhaul and service Hartzell products," noted Jerry Pickett, Yingling's Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "We already have one of the nation's most advanced and well-equipped propeller service sites with in-house non-destructive testing, metal finishing and painting capabilities.  Our prop shop is staffed with a team of factory trained and extremely experienced technicians, so it was logical for us to take this step to expand our offerings.

"We're now able to provide service on Hartzell Fixed Pitch, Constant Speed, Constant Speed, Full-Feathering and Constant Speed Full-Feathering and Reversing propeller.  We can accomplish virtually all standard service requirements and have established relationships with providers for shot peaning and cold-rolling Hartzell blades, so customers can count on Yingling to provide competitively-priced, timely and complete services," he added.

Yingling completed a $1.5 million expansion of its propeller shop last year, adding the ability to inspect and service composite as well as aluminum propellers.
