Aero-TV: Safety Tip of the Week - Doug Ritter, Survivability of Ditching

Survival Expert Doug Ritter Shares His Best Safety Tips

Respected aviation journalist, and one of the world’s leading authorities on survival and survival equipment, Doug Ritter sat down with Aero-TV to share some invaluable safety tips.

In the second of his four part series, Doug Ritter confronts conventional beliefs surrounding the survivability of ditching.  Commonly believed to be extremely dangerous with a low rate of survival, water landings, as Ritter states, are actually statistically much safer than established preconceptions.

Join Aero-TV as Doug Ritter further explains his expertise on ditching.

Internationally renown for his authority on survival related subjects, Ritter is the found, publisher, and editor of “Equipped to Survive,” a revolutionary guide to product reviews, evaluations and articles regarding survival equipment and production.  In addition, Doug Ritter is the Board Chairman and Executive Director of the “Equipped To Survive Foundation,” dedicated to saving lives through survival research and education.
