Columbia Aircraft Opens Italian Sales Center

Benvenuto!

Columbia Aircraft Manufacturing Corporation (CAM) announced Monday  it has appointed a new International Sales Center to serve Italy. The firm will market, sell and support the Columbia 350 and 400 aircraft models exclusively in the southern European nation.

Columbia Aircraft Italia will serve the country from its base of operations at Parma Airport (LIMP) in the northern Italian city.

The company also operates a complete repair, maintenance and overhaul facility that will become certified to support the full line of Columbia aircraft. A co-located sister company is also an authorized Garmin service center and will be enlisted to service the Garmin components in customers’ Columbia aircraft, including the new G1000 panel with the READY Pad alpha numeric data entry system.

"We’re very excited to have Columbia Aircraft Italia as part of the growing international network," said Columbia's Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Randy S. Bolinger. "We’ve made it our practice to select international partners who provide both sales and service and we’re confident that our Italian customers will thoroughly enjoy their experience."

Columbia Aircraft Italia’s parent company has been in business since 1969, employs 110 people and operates a fleet of 12 aircraft.
