The N.C. Board of Transportation has approved state and federal funding for safety and airfield improvement projects at 10 North Carolina airports. State funds totaling $12.75 million have been awarded for various projects that help the airports increase capacity, attract new jobs and businesses to their communities, and improve safety for pilots and passengers. Alaska Airlines Received Its First 737-9 In January

Boeing and Alaska Airlines have completed an agreement for 23 737-9 airplanes and 15 options. With this agreement, the carrier’s 737 MAX order book, including options and lease commitments, stands at 120 airplanes. This deal was first announced in December 2020 as a commitment and will be reflected on Boeing’s Orders & Deliveries website. At that time; Alaska Airlines, a longtime Boeing 737 operator, placed an order for 32 737-9 jets in 2012. The 737-9 is a member of the 737 MAX family that is designed to offer more fuel efficiency, reliability and flexibility in the single-aisle airplane market.

Embraer is claiming another important milestone in the development of the KC-390 Millennium multi-mission military freighter program with the successful conclusion of the aerial refueling qualification between two KC-390 Millennium, proving, for the Brazilian Air Force (FAB), this new operational capacity of the aircraft. The in-flight refueling capacity between two aircraft of the same model using inflight refueling underwing "pods" is unique in this category. This allows KC-390 Millennium operators to expand their logistical transport capacity and during search and rescue operations.

Model AB139 and AW139 helicopters. AD 2017-23-08 required repetitively inspecting the main rotor (M/R) rotating scissors, removing certain lower half scissor spherical bearings (bearings) from service, replacing the removed bearings with a new bearing, and installing a special nut.
