Universal Avionics Software Version SCN 31.1 for the UniLink UL-800/801 Communications Management Unit (CMU) has received FAA Technical Standard Order (TSO). The software upgrade provides an optional configuration for Aeronautical Telecommunications Network Baseline 1 (ATN B1) Controller-Pilot Data Link Communications (CPDLC) and Context Management functions required for the European mandate, formerly known as Link 2000+.
