Two Aircraft And Mission Support Included In The Contract

The Mexican Navy Secretaría de Marina has placed an initial order with Beechcraft for two T-6C+ military trainers. This purchase represents the first step in modernizing the Mexican Navy’s fixed-wing aviation fleet and follows a recent expansion of the Mexican Air Force training fleet to include 12 T-6C+ aircraft. The Navy trainers are scheduled for delivery in the summer of 2014.

Air France-KLM selected the GEnx-1B engine to power its 25 Boeing 787 Dreamliners and 12 leased 787 aircraft. The total engine order is valued at more than $1.7 billion (USD). India’s newest airline, AirAsia India, has taken delivery of its first aircraft, an Airbus A320 equipped with "Sharklets", becoming the newest operator of the type. CEA FFS Certified By ENAC, EASA

A joint team from ENAC (the Italian Civil Aviation Authority) and the European Aviation Safety Authority (EASA) has certified the world’s first AW189 full-flight simulator (FFS) to Level D, the highest qualification for flight simulators. The new CAE 3000 Series AW189 FFS is installed in the new simulation building at AgustaWestland’s A. Marchetti Training Academy in Sesto Calende, Italy.
