The other shoe has dropped... long rumored, but only vaguely acknowledged by EAA, the Oshkosh-based organization has decided to fight back less than a month before the advent of the largest aviation gathering in the world. EAA has confirmed to ANN that they have filed a petition with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit in Chicago, asking the court to review and provide relief from payments demanded by the Federal Aviation Administration in relation to air traffic control services at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh.

NTSB Stands Its Ground On TWA Flight 800 Findings

Says No Evidence Exists For Missile Theory Put Forward By Documentary Producers

The NTSB held a media briefing Tuesday allowing those involved in the original investigation of the July 17th, 1996 accident involving TWA Flight 800, which went down in the Atlantic Ocean shortly after takeoff from New York, to address issues raised in a documentary on the investigation set for release later this month. The board is standing by its original probable cause report indicating that a fuel tank explosion brought down the aircraft.

A YouTube video posted by a Maryland radio station shows an accident involving a Nanchang CJ-6A, a Chinese-built training airplane, which resulted in the fatal injury of the two people on board. A long-term agreement has been signed between UTC Aerospace Systems and Singapore Technologies Aerospace Ltd. (ST Aerospace) to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner nacelle systems for both the Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 and General Electric GEnx engines.
