An alliance has been formed between AAI Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and Aurora Flight Sciences to integrate AAI's Universal Ground Control Station (UGCS) and other ground control technologies with Aurora's Orion UAS and Centaur Optionally Piloted Aircraft (OPA). Fort Campbell's New Helicopter Simulator Provides Virtual Training

Runs Crews Through Paces In CH-47 And UH-60 Scenarios

It looked like a scene out of a science fiction movie at Fort Campbell, KY, one recent Wednesday morning as a group of 101st Combat Aviation Brigade noncommissioned officers trained on a new simulator for the first time. The Non-rated Crew Member Manned Module, or NCM3, came to post last week to be used for the first time beyond the testing stages. The module is a simulator that was created to train helicopter crews on the rear of both the CH-47 Chinook and UH-60 Black Hawk.

Also Announces Opening Of New Service Centers In Chicago And Dallas

Nextant Aerospace has entered into an agreement with Beechcraft Sales and Service GmbH (Beechcraft Augsburg) to open the first factory-approved service center in Europe for Nextant-manufactured aircraft. Nextant also announced Monday at the NBAA convention in Las Vegas Monday that it has entered into agreements with Emery Air, Inc. to provide service for the 400XT in the Chicago area and with Jet Works Air Center to provide service in the Dallas area.
