Flight Attendants At Horizon Air Reach Tentative Agreement

Pact Increases Pay, Vacation, Improves Schedule Flexibility

Horizon Air flight attendants, represented by the Association of flight attendants-CWA (AFA), announced Wednesday they have reached a tentative agreement with management of the airline. AFA represents the more than 500 flight attendants at Horizon, a wholly owned subsidiary of Alaska Air Group.

"Horizon flight attendants play a crucial role in the success of our airline. This agreement recognizes our contributions and addresses the concerns most important to flight attendants," said Leslie Miller, Acting AFA President at Horizon. The agreement includes increases to pay and vacation, as well as substantial improvements to FA flexibility and quality of life. The tentative agreement has been approved by the Flight Attendant leadership. Complete terms of the agreement will be sent to the membership for ratification.

Horizon offers service to 40 destinations in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The Association of flight attendants represents nearly 60,000 flight attendants at 21 airlines ... part of the 700,000-member strong Communications Workers of America (CWA), AFL-CIO.
