FlightSafety
International has announced that it will design and manufacture the
first Dassault Falcon 2000EX EASy – Falcon 900EX EASy
convertible flight simulator. This new simulator is scheduled to be
operational early in the second quarter of 2006.
“This announcement further strengthens our training
partnership with Dassault. The new simulator will enhance our
ability to provide convenient and superior training to the Falcon
Jet community,” said Bruce Whitman, President, FlightSafety
International.
“Adding a convertible simulator to the Teterboro Learning
Center is a smart move,” said John G. Rosanvallon, President
and CEO of Dassault Falcon Jet. “It will give us the
flexibility we need to meet the training requirements of the Falcon
Jet EASy fleet.”
This unique full-motion simulator will be built at the
company’s manufacturing facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Designed
and engineered using the most advanced technology; it will combine
the exact EASy flight deck replication with a Head Up display and
high definition visual system. This new simulator will receive FAA
Level “D” certification following its installation.
FlightSafety’s VITAL 9 visual system presents highly
detailed, texture enhanced scenes and excels in its realistic
presentation of both routine and critical weather conditions.
Pilots and maintenance technicians will also benefit from
FlightSafety’s MatriX interactive training capabilities,
including the SimVu debriefing systems.
The company offers training on Dassault Falcon Jet aircraft in
Teterboro, New Jersey; Dallas, Texas; Columbus, Ohio; Little Rock,
Arkansas and at the LeBourget Airport in Paris, France.
