Customizable Searches For Destinations, Preferred Aircraft
The aircraft charter and private jet industry in the United
States is seems to be experiencing a rebirth of sorts after several
years of challenging economic conditions. Air charter directory
JetCharters.com says it has begun leveraging advanced web
technology through a unique search module on the company’s
website that allows users to create customizable searches regarding
a wide variety of preferred aircraft, airport locations and charter
operators.

The site has implemented what it describes as a simple user
interface on its website for customers to search for private jets
by make and model, as well as providing geo-specific searches in
all markets, such as New York (Teterboro), Los Angeles and Miami.
According to JetCharters.com spokesman Ernie Falco III, “We
identified a need to bring travelers and aircraft charter companies
together from a logistical perspective, eliminating many of the
typical complications that have plagued the charter aircraft
industry in the past.” Falco added, “We have seen a 35%
increase in searches since the system went live last
month.”

The company says its website allows users to quickly search for
a preferred charter aircraft by its tail number, the private jet
operator or by its geographic location. For example, users can
quickly search for all Cessna Citation X jet aircraft available for
charter in the south Florida markets of West Palm Beach, Miami and
Ft. Lauderdale. The interface for the search module has been
designed with simplicity and convenience for the user in mind,
providing substantial aircraft data, the operator’s contact
information, as well as pictures and videos that help users locate
the most appropriate aircraft and most convenient airports to
complete their trips.
