It's Good News, Comparatively Speaking

We at ANN have long been critics of the safety procedures employed at Sun 'n Fun, but we are pleased to report that this year, there were no fatalities at the show. Although some of the accidents and incidents reported below are evidence of the need for more pilot training and currency, some are closely related to SnF procedures. We are pleased that things are getting better -- and we'll continue to gripe and comment, until the Fly-In comes to grips with some other long-standing problems. Here are the official reports:
