NBAA And EBAA Snag Sites, Dates Through 2009
The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) and the
European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) are pleased to
announce that European Business Aviation Convention &
Exhibition (EBACE) dates have been confirmed for 2006 through 2009
at the Geneva Palexpo Conference Center. EBACE is the only European
exhibition to focus exclusively on business aviation.
The EBACE dates are:
- EBACE2006 - Wednesday, May 3 through Friday, May 5, 2006
- EBACE2007 - Tuesday, May 22 through Thursday, May 24, 2007
- EBACE2008 - Tuesday, May 20 through Thursday, May 22, 2008
- EBACE2009 - Tuesday, May 12 through Thursday, May 14, 2009
Plans are well underway for EBACE2005, a three-day exhibition
that will showcase more than 250 business aviation Exhibitors from
around the world and cover nearly 17,000 square meters at Geneva
Palexpo from May 18 through 20, 2005. More than 35 aircraft,
including nearly every major business aircraft design currently in
production, will be on display at Geneva International Airport in
the Static Display area immediately adjacent to the exhibit
hall.
EBACE2004, held last May, registered a record 6,487 Attendees --
an increase of 8.4 percent over the 2003 total of 5,984 Attendees.
It also featured 247 Exhibitors occupying a record 728 3-meter by
3-meter booth spaces in Geneva Palexpo, an increase of 18 percent
over the 2003 booth space total of 615 spaces. The Static Display
on Geneva International Airport featured a total of 36 business
aircraft.
"Since its debut in 2001, EBACE has
established itself as the premier business aviation event in
Europe," said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. "NBAA and EBAA are
committed to further enhancing the effectiveness of this event. We
look forward to future successes as EBACE continues to
flourish."
These remarks were echoed by the new CEO of EBAA Brian M.
Humphries who, in his previous position as EBAA Chairman, has
played a key role in the Show since its inception. "As the first
event of its kind in Europe dedicated solely to business aviation,
EBACE has filled an important gap in a region where the business
sector is now growing after the plateau of the 1990s. The
combination of NBAA and EBAA expertise in the EBACE partnership
works particularly well, and we look forward to continuing to work
with our US colleagues and Geneva Palexpo as we develop EBACE to
meet market needs."
