Positively Identified And Tracked Two Tu-142 Russian Maritime Patrol Aircraft

At 4:50 a.m. (AKST), the Alaskan North American Aerospace Defense Region, in support of NORAD, positively identified and tracked two Tu-142 Russian maritime patrol aircraft entering the Alaskan Air Defense Identification Zone. The Russian aircraft, which are currently operating in international airspace, have not entered United States or Canadian sovereign airspace. The Tupolev Tu-142 is a Soviet/Russian maritime reconnaissance and anti-submarine warfare (ASW) aircraft derived from the Tu-95 turboprop strategic bomber.

Doc’s Southeast Tour Will Include Visits To Monroe, LA, And Mobile, AL

B-29 Doc will bring its 'History Restored Tour' to Alabama and Louisiana with two tour stops between April 19 through April 25. This portion of Doc’s southeast tour will include visits to Monroe, LA, and Mobile, AL. Both will feature B-29 Doc Flight Experience rides, along with ground and flight deck tours. The tour stops in Alabama and Louisiana will follow the April 16-18 tour stop in Fayetteville, AR, which was previously announced.

NASA’s SpaceX Crew-1 astronauts aboard the International Space Station will mark another first for commercial spaceflight Monday, April 5, when the four astronauts will relocate the Crew Dragon spacecraft to prepare for the arrival of new crew members in late April and the upcoming delivery of new solar arrays this summer. NASA astronauts Michael Hopkins, Victor Glover, and Shannon Walker, along with Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) astronaut Soichi Noguchi, will undock Crew Dragon Resilience from the forward port of the station’s Harmony module at 6:29 a.m. and dock to the space-facing port at 7:15 a.m.

He Heard The Airplane Suddenly Experience A Total Loss Of Engine Power

On March 15, 2021, about 1459 eastern daylight time, a Beech B36TC, N236BC, was destroyed when it collided with a vehicle and the ground after takeoff from North Perry Airport (HWO), Pembroke Pines, Florida. The private pilot and pilot-rated passenger in the airplane and a passenger in the vehicle were fatally injured. The driver of the vehicle sustained serious injuries. AD 2021-06-01 Prompted By A Report That Electronic Circuit Breakers (ECBs) Were Found In A Locked State

The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. (Pilatus) Model PC-24 airplanes. This AD was prompted by a report that electronic circuit breakers (ECBs) were found in a locked state after maintenance, but before flight. This AD requires revising the airplane flight manual (AFM) to incorporate a procedure to check for the ECB status. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products. This AD is effective May 4, 2021.

The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation (Gulfstream) Model GV airplanes. This AD was prompted by notification of corrosion present in floor beam support links. This AD requires inspecting the right butt line 6 floor beam inboard support links and bushings for corrosion. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products. This AD is effective May 4, 2021.
