Updates To Proven Zenith Designs...

While at the U.S. LSA Expo 2012, ANN News Editor Tom Patton speaks with Sebastien Heintz, the Owner and President of the Zenith Aircraft Company. Tom’s first question was to ask what’s new with the Zenith Zodiac 650. Heintz said the Zodiac 650 is the newest in a long line of successful Zodiac aircraft. The 650 has a new style canopy, a new style rudder assembly, and the demonstrator is fitted with the new UL Power 350iS engine.

A small, bipartisan group of U.S. Senators is looking to make minor changes in language included in the FAA reauthorization bill that would allow local officials to have some limited capability to regulate drone operations. But major changes to the bill's language is not expected, according to a report from The Hill newspaper. The bill as it is currently written would not allow local governments to enact laws related to the design, manufacture, testing, licensing, registration, certification, operation or maintenance of unmanned aircraft.
