NORAD Officials Reschedule Capital-Area Exercise Due To Bad WX

A North American Aerospace Defense Command exercise designed to test the command's aerospace defense capabilities in the national capital area has been rescheduled after inclement weather last week forced its postponement. Exercise Falcon Virgo, originally planned for the May 15-16 overnight period, now is scheduled for May 19-20.

Easy Access To Current Notices Of Proposed Amendment Provided As A First Step

EASA has launched its new web-based rulemaking handbook (e-tool) to facilitate access to EASA rules. The handbook currently includes Notices of Proposed Amendment (NPA) for air operations (NPA 2009-02B, NPA 2009-02C, NPA 2009-02E) and for organisation requirements (NPA 2008-22C).

International Launch Services (ILS) got off a successful launch, over the weekend, carrying the Indostar II/Protostar II satellite into orbit. This marks the second commercial mission of the year for ILS and the fourth successful Proton launch of 2009.
