Gulfstream Aerospace Receives FAA G150 FAA Maintenance Approval

Long Beach Facility Approved For Airframe, Engine, And APU Work

Gulfstream Aerospace recently received approval from the FAA to perform engine and Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) maintenance on Gulfstream G150 aircraft at its facility in Long Beach, CA. It was previously approved by the FAA to perform airframe maintenance.

This means that the facility now provides comprehensive service for all in-service Gulfstream business jets.

“Being able to service the entire Gulfstream fleet at Long Beach is very significant,” said Mark Burns, president, Product Support, Gulfstream. “It is an important geographic location for our operators, and we are pleased to continue to enhance our customer service capabilities.”

The FAA’s authorization allows Gulfstream Long Beach technicians and mechanics to service and support G150 operators at the Long Beach facility and in the field. The facility is approved for maintenance and alterations, excluding overhaul, on the aircraft’s Honeywell TFE 731-40A twin engines and its Honeywell RE100 APU.

The Gulfstream facility has been in operation at Long Beach Airport since 1986.
