Actor Confronted By Passenger On UAL Flight

Don't Bug Uncle Jesse When He's Sleeping

Television actor John Stamos would probably prefer the world remember him more for his recent work on the medical procedural drama "ER," than the nine years he spent playing Uncle Jesse on the sitcom "Full House"... but there's at least one woman he'd prefer not remember him at all.

The woman approached Stamos as he was sleeping in first class on a recent United Airlines flight from Chicago to LAX, and tried to shake him awake... which he didn't appreciate, reports entertainment service E! Online.

According to witness accounts, Stamos asked the woman to let him sleep in peace, but she persisted in trying to attract his attention. Later in the flight, when Stamos got up to use the restroom... she confiscated his seat, and wouldn't give it up when confronted by flight attendants.

Authorities were waiting when the plane landed at LAX, and FBI agents questioned the woman for causing "a verbal altercation," in the words of an agency spokeswoman.

Stamos opted not to press charges against the unnamed woman, who was reportedly flying back from Chicago with her children after they filmed scenes for an upcoming episode of "ER."
