West Coast Location Allows International Service
A 20 year anniversary is pretty much always a reason to crow at
least a little, and that is the milestone being celebrated by
Mid-Continent Instruments' Van Nuys operation. The full-service
repair station, including overhaul, repair, exchange and
distribution, has been strategically located at KVNY for two
decades.
The company says its west coast location allows the company to
service Pacific Rim customers, as well as offering extended hours
to its international and United States customers in later time
zones. With the same integrated customer databases as its Midwest
counterpart, Mid-Continent Instruments - West offers full-class
repair services for instruments, accessories and avionics. It is
FAA- and EASA-certified and has been a longstanding member of the
AEA and NBAA.
Mid-Continent Instruments - West attributes much of its
long-term success to its experienced staff and strong relationships
with customers. Matt Fowle, the company's Western regional
director, was instrumental in the design and development of the
West Coast facility in 1991, and several employees have been with
the company for more than a decade. The company's dedication to
on-the-mark, hands-on customer service sets it well apart from the
competition, with short turn times, competitive pricing and open
lines of communication. “We have built a large team of
experienced technicians,” said Fowle. “We have an
extensive inventory in California that we ship worldwide. But what
it comes down to is supporting our customers. No matter where they
are, they know that they can get exactly what they need exactly
when they need it - with very little downtime - which helps their
businesses grow.”
That targeted response to customer demand has helped
Mid-Continent Instruments - West grow steadily throughout the past
two decades and will guide the company into the next decade of
offering exemplary service and quality products.
