Closes Up Karachi Maintenance
Air France is now officially out of Pakistan,
having closed its maintenance office at Karachi's Jinnah
Last May, the carrier ceased cargo operations in that beleagured
country, a year after a bomb blast at the Sheraton hotel killed
eleven French citizens.
The airline also is blaming the Civil Aviation Authority, which,
it says, is doing little right, while coming dangerously close to
price-gouging on rents.
