M7 Aerospace Names Ronald W. Frederick As New President And CEO

Former Prez Williams Now Vice Chairman, Member Of Board

Earlier this week, the Board of Directors of M7 Aerospace named Ronald W. Frederick to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer, with responsibility for all aspects of the company’s operations and financial performance.

Frederick (below) succeeds Harold J.M. (Mac) Williams, who has been named Vice Chairman of M7 and a member of the Board of Directors.

Representatives with M7 tell ANN that Frederick brings nearly 40 years of experience in aerospace management to his new position. He previously held senior executive positions with General Electric, Williams International, Goodrich, Johnson Technology, and UNC Manufacturing.

While at General Electric, Frederick served as president of Garrett Aviation Services, the largest independent business aviation maintenance company in the world. At Goodrich he was president of its Machined Turbine Engine Components Company. At UNC he was president of the manufacturing and repair business.

M7 Aerospace is active in five business lines, including government logistics support programs; aerostructures manufacturing; maintenance, repair and overhaul; aircraft parts sales and product support, and aerial digital imaging and remote sensing.

M7 Aerospace's headquarters are located at San Antonio (TX) International Airport. The company began operations on April 1, 2003 with approximately 170 employees, including 116 in San Antonio.

The company now employs nearly 550 people worldwide and more than 300 in San Antonio.
