TICO Airshow Ticket Prices Reduced Due To Hard Economic Times

Special Guest Is Medal of Honor Winner Colonel George "Bud" Day

The roar of vintage warbird engines return to the Space Coast on March 13 through 15 with the 32nd annual TICO Warbird Airshow at the Space Center Executive Airport (TIX) in Titusville, FL. To encourage attendance despite the present economic conditions, the Valiant Air Command -- the airshow's sponsor -- is reducing the gate admission fee.

The VAC announced last week that "in recognition of the hardships that all of us are facing, the ticket price... has been reduced" from $23 to $20 for adults, and from $18 to $15 for children. Advance ticket prices remain the same at $18 for adults, and $13 for children ages 4-12.

VAC Commander Lloyd Morris said, "Even though we are a non-profit and this is our big fundraiser of the year, we think it's important to recognize that we are all in this economy together, and we want as many folks as possible to be able to experience our airshow."

In addition to the many vintage and modern military aircraft on display, there will be military re-enactors; flight demonstrations; formation flying; special events; antique cars on exhibit; Radio Disney; and special guests, including veteran and Medal of Honor winner Colonel George "Bud" Day.

Advanced tickets can be purchased at the VAC Warbird Museum located at the airport and many other locations in the Space Coast area, which are listed on the VAC website. Gates open at 8:30 am, and the airshow starts at 1 pm.
