FAA Level D Qualification For Flight Safety King Air 350 Sim

New Sim Already In Use Training Pilots From The U.S. To Australia

The FAA has qualified a new Beechcraft King Air 350 full flight simulator to Level D. The simulator is located at FlightSafety’s Hawker Beechcraft Learning Center in Wichita, Kansas.

“The Level D qualification of this new simulator by the FAA will enable us to serve the rapidly growing number of corporate and commercial operators and military and government agencies who rely on FlightSafety for King Air 350 training,” said Bruce Whitman, President & CEO.

The first initial training course using this new simulator was attended by pilots from Australia, France, the Philippines, Russia, Slovakia, Thailand, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

“We appreciate the high quality training and simulation equipment FlightSafety provides King Air operators around the world,” said Shawn Vick, Executive Vice President, Hawker Beechcraft Corporation. “The qualification of FlightSafety’s third King Air 350 simulator demonstrates our mutual commitment to provide our customers with training resources that help them to operate their aircraft safely and efficiently.”

The simulator features the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 Integrated Avionics System and is equipped with FlightSafety’s VITAL Visual System and electric motion and control loading technology.
