London Firm Visiongain Sees Growing Global Demand For Maintenance Services
Visiongain's analysis indicates that the world commercial aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) market will reach a value of $49.2 billion in 2013 because of growing demand for maintenance services to handle the global fleet of commercial aircraft. The commercial aircraft MRO market is forecast by Visiongain to experience growth over the next decade providing numerous business opportunities.
The expansion of air travel will ensure an increase in production rates for new aircraft which should give MRO providers ample opportunities for new business. But newer aircraft, which require less maintenance than older aircraft which are now coming into retirement age, will require MRO providers to invest in adding new training techniques and new tooling in order to attain relevant certification. This is something that many smaller third party providers will struggle to achieve by themselves. The increasing presence of OEMs into the after sales market is likely to alter the make-up of the MRO market
The author of the World Commercial Aircraft Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) Market 2013-2023 report commented that 'the prospects for the commercial aircraft MRO market will remain encouraging given the number of aircraft expected to be active in the air over the next ten years and because of the need to improve on efficiency and to fill air safety requirements.'
The report contains 145 tables, charts and graphs that add visual analysis in order to explain developing trends within the commercial aircraft MRO market. Visiongain provides forecasts for the period 2013-2023 in terms of value in U.S. dollars for the global commercial aircraft MRO market, as well as for 4 submarkets (engine maintenance, component maintenance, line maintenance and HMV/Mods) of the commercial aircraft MRO market. In addition, 10 leading national markets are forecast and analysed by Visiongain over the period 2013-2023.
