Welcome to Entegra's Next-Generation -- Release 9,
Avidyne’s powerful, simple, intuitive and truly integrated
flight deck system.
Entegra Release 9 features large-format, ultra- reliable
LED-backlit displays — the first to be truly interchangeable
for use as PFD or MFD. Since each Integrated Flight Display (IFD)
is fully capable of performing the functions of the other, no
unfamiliar or limited reversionary modes are required. So you can
train as you fly and fly as you train.
The fully-integrated, all-digital WAAS Gamma 3
COM/NAV/Surveillance (CNS) suite is managed with the intuitive
FMS900w, while dual redundant databus interconnection automatically
synchronizes data between displays, the FMS Keypad and a full
complement of safety sensors.

Avidyne has also announced their new attitude-based DFC100
Digital Flight Control System, which is targeted specifically for
installation in Cirrus SR20 and SR22 aircraft with Avidyne's dual
Air Data and Attitude Heading Reference Systems (ADAHRS) and the
Entegra Release 9 Integrated Flight Deck (IFD) system.
Avidyne's DFC100 is an integrated flight computer and control
panel that is designed as a plug-and-play replacement for existing
rate-based STEC 55X flight computers, and is compatible with Cirrus
SR20 and SR22 aircraft that have upgraded to Entegra Release
9. When the DFC100 is added to the Entegra Release 9-equipped
Cirrus aircraft, there's no additional wiring and therefore
virtually no aircraft down time required to upgrade to the
ADAHRS-driven attitude-based autopilot.
