GAMA has published its 2018 second quarter shipments and billings report for the global general and business aviation industry. The total number of aircraft delivered was up, while overall billings was down.

AirVenture Oshkosh 2018 set new attendance records and drew more than 10,000 aircraft, according to the final figures released by EAA. “A ‘perfect’ event may be unattainable, but AirVenture 2018 came about as close as one could imagine," said EAA chairman Jack Pelton. Back To Space (BTS) is seeking candidates for its 2018 Student Ambassador Program. Contestants will be selected based on the submission of essays or videos. Scholarships Promote Female Helicopter Pilots

The helicopter industry is facing unprecedented pilot shortages with a predicted demand of over 7,000 pilots in the United States alone over the next 18 years. To combat these shortages, Southern Utah University (SUU) Aviation has allocated three $20,000 scholarships to Whirly-Girls International for female helicopter pilot students.
