EU Aviation Summit Draws Industry Stakeholders

Comes Amid Calls For Better Social Standards

Major European airlines, pilots and cabin crew organizations are joining forces to demand decent social standards and clear rules for the industry to abide by. The call comes when aviation stakeholders & decision-makers meet in Vienna for the high-level European Aviation Summit under the Austrian Presidency. Just a day before, several Transport Ministers urged the EU Commission to come up with concrete measures to achieve a ‘socially responsible connectivity’ and to ensure healthy and fair competition on Europe’s aviation market.

Moody Aviation Selects FRASCA AATDs For Aviation Program

Three Devices To Be Installed At Spokane, WA Facility

After spending the last several years considering options to supplement it's simulated training devices,  Moody Aviation has selected Frasca International to provide three reconfigurable Advanced Aviation Training Devices (AATDs) for use at their flight training facility at Felts Field in Spokane, Washington. Moody is one of Frasca's earliest customers, having purchased their first Frasca simulator in the 1960's. Moody currently uses several Frasca devices which have been acquired over the years. Their three new AATDs will replace three earlier Frasca units.

Aero Linx: The Swift Museum The Swift Museum is located at the McMinn County airport (KMMI) in Athens, Tennessee approximately 60 miles southwest of Knoxville, 60 miles northeast of Chattanooga and 200 miles southeast of Nashville. We have multiple Swift aircraft on display, including the first prototype #1, stock production and modified Swifts from 1946 to 1951, as well as two T-35 Buckaroo USAF trainers. These military versions of the Swift were tested by the USAF in the early 1950’s. One of the T-35’s is an armed version used by and donated to the Museum from the Saudi Arabian Air Force. The museum is open for individual and group tours.
