Bell Helicopter Training Academy Offers Model 412 Maintenance Course

Web-Based Training Saves Costs For Company And Employees

Bell Helicopter recently announced the Bell Helicopter Training Academy has launched its first on-line course for Customer Service Facilities (CSFs) that maintain the Bell 412 product line.

The 412 - CSF Field Maintenance Refresher course is available through Bell's Learning Management System (LMS) and is intended to provide refresher training for Bell's CSF maintenance technicians. The course offers the flexibility to be taken at any time and location convenient for the technician.

Since it is web-based it does not require technicians to travel to the Bell Training Academy in order to complete their refresher training requirements and earn their full Bell Achievement Ranking System (BARS) training credit. BARS is an internal ranking system developed by Bell to promote superior product support and CFS continuous improvement.

Pat Crippen, marketing and sales manager at the academy said, "As we continue to expand our curriculum, we are looking at ways to increase the access to our courses. This 412 field maintenance refresher course is a good example of that and we hope to provide more courses using this method in the future."
