FACTS Training Adds Career Essentials Workshop

Teaching Better Presentation Skills, One FA At A Time

FACTS Training, a division AirCare Solutions Group, announced this week the addition of FACTS Career Essentials to its curriculum... a program intended to allow flight attendants to put their best professional foot forward when applying for new positions.

The intensive half-day one-on-one workshop provides the new and the experienced Flight Attendant with the proper fundamentals in developing the personal skills and advanced marketing techniques necessary for a successful career in corporate aviation. The workshop is available to those attending scheduled FACTS crewmember training programs or as a stand-alone training module.

"A strong marketplace advantage awaits those Flight Attendants who add professionalism to their flight bag," said Bruce Snyder – Director of FACTS Training.

Snyder adds those completing the workshop will possess a definitive edge in making a positive first impression with prospective employers through improved self presentation skills, knowledge of business etiquette protocols and understanding the nuances of the world of corporate aviation. With competition being keen for the best positions, effective self-marketing is pivotal in securing an interview, as is confidence and professionalism in winning the position.

In response to the growing demand for "seasoned" Flight Attendants, FACTS Career Essentials was launched to broaden and strengthen its curriculum specific to the needs of the current job market. Over the past 25 years, FACTS has developed a leadership role, recognized industry wide, for its innovative, comprehensive corporate crewmember training programs. With the addition of FACTS Career Essentials™ comes another effective tool for FACTS Training Graduates to successfully enter the field of corporate aviation as well as the ability to manage the business of a respected, professional Corporate Flight Attendant.

According to Scott Arnold, Director of AirCare Crews, another AirCare Solution Group company, "Flight Attendants must possess the skills to properly self-promote and market themselves in business aviation. Safety training is paramount, but unless you properly market your skills -- your certifications are moot.

"I estimate that at least 85% of all resumes, cover letters and emails we receive at AirCare Crews are either sent or completed improperly... Not a good first impression!"
