Company Displays Innovative E-Learning, Testing Products
Night Flight Concepts, which delivers products and services for
EMS and SAR night-vision applications, is showcasing innovative
night vision goggle solutions at this year’s AMTC, the Air
Medical Transport Conference, which wraps up Wednesday in St.
Louis, MO.
One is the company's NVIO Night Vision Goggle (NVG)
Computer-Based Training (CBT), which leverages advanced simulation
and synthetic environments to provide a flexible, self-paced,
e-learning option for night vision training and maintenance
support. REACH Air Medical Services is one customer. REACH
Operations Director Vicky Spediacci says she's impressed with NVIO,
and calls the graphics unbelievable, adding, "This computer-based
training system allows for much more operational flexibility with
our training program without sacrificing content. The course
content clearly meets, and exceeds, all FAA regulatory
requirements."
Also at AMTC, Night Flight Concepts is displaying what it calls
the only lightweight, portable solution available today that
delivers a means to effectively respond to the challenging
requirement for maintaining the Instructions for Continued
Airworthiness (ICA) for aircraft cockpits modified for NVG
lighting. The NVG Lighting Conformity Test Kit developed by Hoffman
Engineering offers a complete NVG lighting testing capability to
help organizations simplify and standardize the testing process and
meet regulatory and lighting compliance requirements.
