Oh My, Dubai! Hawker Beechcraft Adds To Order Its Book

Sells Hawker 4000, Hawker 850XP To Turkish Charter Company

Hawker Beechcraft Corporation announced the sale Tuesday of a super-midsize Hawker 4000 and a midsize Hawker 850XP to Sertur Air, Turkey's largest charter operator. Based in Istanbul, Sertur Air will add its new Hawker 4000 and Hawker 850XP to the fleet of five Hawker 850XP's and one Hawker 400XP it now operates.

"Our Hawker models are well suited to the requirements of the business or private traveler in Turkey," said Sean McGeough, vice president of International Sales. "Large, luxurious cabins, individually customized to provide an exceptional experience are the hallmark of the Hawker line. The range and capabilities of our Hawker aircraft make non-stop travel anywhere in the Middle East and Europe an easy option."

Turkey has been a strong market for HBC for many years, with a 46 percent share of the business turbine aircraft fleet today. Of the 61 aircraft in-country, 28 are Hawker or Beechcraft models.

"The Hawker range of aircraft offer unmatched quality, luxury and reliability for our customer base," said Mahmut Serter, chairman, Sertur Air.

Sertur Air provides flights to destinations within Russia and Europe from its base in Istanbul, using its Hawker 400 XP and Hawker 850 XP jets.
