Presentation Will Be Made At Safety Symposium In March
The Air Charter Safety Foundation (ACSF) is pleased to recognize
CAE as its first "Champion of Safety" sustaining member. ACSF says
the corporation has shown its commitment to the foundation's vision
of enhancing and improving safety through its support and generous
financial donation.
CAE provides simulation and modeling technologies and integrated
training solutions for the civil aviation industry and defense
forces around the globe. It has the largest installed base of civil
and military full-flight simulators and training devices. Through
its global network of 30 civil aviation and military training
centers, more than 80,000 crewmembers are trained yearly.
The organization has extended an open invitation to join them at
the 2011 Air Charter Safety Symposium, where CAE will be awarded
with the first ACSF Champion of Safety - Sustaining Member plaque
and recognize the corporation for its outstanding support and
contributions to the ACSF. "We are very grateful for this generous
leadership contribution and for the on-going support provided to
the ACSF from CAE," said ACSF Chairman Jim Christiansen. "I'm
looking forward to presenting the Champion of Safety recognition to
CAE at the Safety Symposium in March. At the symposium, we will
also have the pleasure of recognizing a number of other
organizations that have provided generous support to the ACSF. The
ACSF's work is vital and all of these organizations have made a
tremendous statement and contribution to the advancement of safety
in our industry. They deserve thanks and recognition from all of
us."
Today, nearly 60 Part 135 and 91k
operators have joined the Air Charter Safety Foundation to take
advantage of important safety activities as well as vital outreach
initiatives highlighting the improving safety record of the
on-demand air charter industry.
