New Home To Be At North Texas Regional Airport
U.S. Aviation Academy has formally announced their move to a new location in Grayson County, about an hour north of Dallas.
A provider of flight instruction for both domestic and international students, this new location helps expand their ability to offer first class training in a close, intimate setting.
In a news release, the company said its new home at North Texas Regional Airport (KGYI), a towered airport with class D airspace, is located in the Sherman/Denison area. The airfield is home to over 12,500 square feet of facilities solely dedicated to training students of all levels, from those with zero flight hours to professional pilots.
Flexibility and specialized attention are key areas of focus for U.S. Aviation Academy, and the low traffic environment and close practices areas of KGYI will let instructors maximize students' flight time.
"For domestic students, we offer flexible training hours to accommodate any work schedule," said Christopher Ramey, Program Director. "For international students, we provide housing that's located just a few miles from the airport," Ramey continued. "Our apartments are fully furnished with all the necessary amenities for living and Internet access is also provided."
In addition, a bus system provides not only transportation to and from the Academy and apartments, but also weekly trips to and from local grocery stores, helping international students who are hear to learn to fly, adjust to their new surroundings.
