NASA's Wednesday Briefing On Landing The Shuttle Atlantis
After a day of careful checks aimed at making sure nothing
important has fallen off the space shuttle, the crew of Atlantis is
set to come home on Thursday.
Wednesday's landing was scrubbed after Brent Jett and his crew
spotted several objects floating near the shuttle -- objects that
appeared to have come from the shuttle itself. That prompted a
thorough series of examinations aimed at finding where those pieces
came from.
Shuttle Program Director Wayne Hale says whatever those objects
were... they don't appear to have been crucial. Let's listen in on
Wednesday afternoon's briefing.
This feature is in addition to our daily news briefing --
available in either a quick "Touch And Go" format, or an expanded
Aero-Briefing -- where you'll hear these stories:
NASA says Atlantis can come home...
Another air scare for commercial passengers...
And Air Marshals are getting sick in droves... they say
that's the reason so many marshals are being fired....
...And more.

professionals need to stay informed on.
- ANN's Daily 'ASR' Feature Aero-Cast: Our daily
