EAA To Bring LSA Mall To July's Arlington Fly-In

Popular Attraction To Feature More Than 30 RTF Airplanes

After its successful introduction at last year's AirVenture in Oshkosh -- and a somewhat-conspicuous absence at the recent Lakeland Fly-In -- the Experimental Aircraft Association is bringing its Light Sport Aircraft Mall to the upcoming Northwest EAA Fly-In in Arlington, WA. The popular event -- held in one of the most beautiful venues in the lower 48 -- will host the LSA Mall throughout the Fly-In, July 5-9.

The Light-Sport Aircraft Mall offers the opportunity to view a variety of new recreational and light-sport aircraft -- all in ready-to-fly-condition -- in one place. All aviation enthusiasts are welcome, ranging from experienced pilots to those just discovering the possibilities of flight, and can have their questions answered by an EAA sport pilot expert.

"With more than 30 ready-to-fly light-sport aircraft now available, the LSA Mall at Arlington will offer the best array of choices for those who want to know more about joining the sport pilot community," said Charlie Becker, EAA's sport pilot program manager. "It's a one-stop wealth of information on the sport pilot rule and the wonderful world of flight available in light-sport aircraft."

The range of aircraft to be on display includes fixed wings of every variety plus trikes (weight-shift control), powered parachutes, and gyros. Industry representatives will be available to answer all questions about the new sport pilot rule as well as any questions about the aircraft.
