Superior Announces Extended Warranties On Millennium Cylinders

Retroactive To Parts Purchased Since January 1, 2006

Coppell, TX-based Superior Air Parts told Aero-News it has extended the warranties on all of its products including standard cast Millennium® Cylinders and all piece-parts to a full two-years.

"With products like our Millennium Cylinders and our proprietary ESR crankshafts, pilots and aircraft owners have known for a long time that we lead the industry in product design and performance," said Timothy T. Archer, President and CEO, Superior Air Parts. "Now, with our two-year warranties, they have another reason to choose our products."

Superior's Investment cast Millennium® Cylinders will now be covered by a three-year warranty.

Representatives with Superior said a major contributing factor to the company’s ability to extend the standard warranty is the extremely high quality of the many parts and components that are manufactured by Superior’s parent company, Thielert AG.

"The overall quality of the parts manufactured in Germany is truly unmatched by anything else in the piston engine industry," he continued. "We’re confident that that quality will translate directly into greater reliability."

Archer also said that the two-year warranty coverage is retroactive to any Millennium Cylinders or piece-parts purchased since January 1, 2006. "We felt that this was the right thing to do for our customers and dealers," he added. "It will pretty much cover any current stock they have on hand."

"Quality, integrity and customer support of all Superior Air Parts products has always been the number one focus of our company," Fred Marsden, Superior’s Manager, Technical Support added. "Our customers put a lot of faith in our products and we want to make sure we do everything we can to earn their trust on every flight."

Superior Air Parts, Inc. is the manufacturer of the new FAA certified Vantage Engine. The company is also the world’s leading manufacturer of FAA approved aftermarket cylinders and replacement parts for Lycoming and Continental aircraft engines. The company also manufacturers the XP-Engine family for experimental and sport aircraft
