Nominations Now Open For 2005 EAA Homebuilders Hall Of Fame

Must Be Postmarked By February 1st

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2005 class of inductees to the EAA Homebuilders Hall of Fame, which honors those who have made significant achievements in the amateur-built aircraft community.

Since 1993, 30 individuals have been inducted into the EAA Homebuilders Hall of Fame, as their achievements have been recognized as advancements for recreational aviation. Activities that determine eligibility include, but are not limited to: designer, builder, educator, innovator, award-winner, leader, record-setter, technical contributor, flyer, etc. The award may be given to a living person or posthumously and can be from any period in aviation history.

All nominations must be postmarked by February 1, 2005. The induction ceremony will be held in the fall of 2005 at the EAA Aviation Center in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

A printable nomination form is available on the EAA Members-Only website. Visitors should go to the Homebuilts category, then to Homebuilders Headquarters and select Hall of Fame under "About Us."

To request a nomination form without Internet access, contact Pat Heyer at (920) 426-6507.
