It's no secret that Florida depends on tourism for a great deal of its state revenue, and millions of those tourists arrive and depart on commercial airliners. So when the President of the United States, the Secretary of Transportation, and the FAA administrator warn of "significant delays" and other problems in air travel due to the furloughs of air traffic controllers, it only makes sense that the Governor of the state would push back.

Matevž departed Monday, and his route of flight will take him from Slovenia to the North Pole, crossing from Europe to Canada and back.

Space Florida will hold a public workshop Friday to determine projects that will be named in the organization’s Spaceport Master Plan. The workshop will take place on Friday, April 26 at the Cape Canaveral Port Authority Chambers.

Tourists from multiple countries, along with the provincial governor Ezzat Saad, took off Sunday morning aboard six balloons for the first sightseeing trips allowed since a balloon caught fire and went down in February.

Lufthansa Hit With One-Day Strike By Ground Staff

Second Such Strike In Two Months Against The European Legacy Carrier

Ground workers upset with the progress of contract negotiations with Lufthansa called a one-day strike against the airline Monday, nearly grounding the airline for a day. The BBC reports that only 32 of a scheduled 1,700 scheduled Lufthansa flights operated Monday.
