The Obama administration has yet to decide on whether to continue funding for the F-22 Raptor fighter program. Though the President has pledged the "days of giving defense contractors a blank check are over"... saying it is one thing, and doing it at a cost of thousands of jobs during a severe recession is another. Given that businesses in 44 states supply parts for the Raptor, discontinuing the program could be a tough sell on Capitol Hill.
