Aero-Terms!

An error in any of the instruments connected to the aircraft static air system. The error is caused when the static air source is not located in an area where the air is not absolutely still (static). Installation error affects the airspeed indicator, altimeter, and vertical speed indicator, and changes as the angle of attack changes.
