Antares Intro's Trike Kwik-Fold Kit

Absolutely hate setting up or taking down your trike?

Antares claims that whether you haul your trike on a trailer, or simply want to store it on-site, the new Antares Kwik-Fold Device will make this process a breeze. The Antares US Corporation has developed a new device that allows Antares trike owners to easily raise and lower their wings (without risk of bodily harm... grin). This new device also offers the coveted ability to fold the wing while it is still attached to the trike. In this configuration, the owner can use his wing bag to cover the wing when not in use, and protect it from harmful UV rays. Besides the Antares trikes, the Kwik-Fold Kit has been designed for all models of Air Creation trikes and wings, to include: Clipper, Buggy, GTE, Fun Racer and Twin.

Antares claims that the wing can be raised or lowered using only one finger (even easier than lifting the rear tailgate of your SUV)! Once mounted, this kit installs permanently but is lightweight (only 4 lbs), and consists of several brackets and some specially designed gas struts. Wherever you fly, the Kwik Fold kit means that you will never need assistance lowering your wing, either for storage or for protection against wind gusts that may pop-up without warning. This system also means that you won't have to tie your trike down when raising or lowering the wing.

Float pilots may find the Kwik-Fold Kit's ability to allow the pilot to raise and lower their wings unassisted, a real value... not to mention a way to keep from taking the occasional unscheduled swim... and offer the added bonus of being able to fold/unfold the wing while the trike is still on the water. Antares says that the Kwik-Fold kit adapts to any of their wings and requires no unsightly hardware, nor does it interfere with the trike's flying characteristics.

The $449.00 kit, (plus shipping), includes everything. Kwik-Fold Kits are currently under development for all models of AirBorne trikes as well as other popular makes.
