DayJet Launches 'Day-Tripper' Contest

Rewards Biz Travelers Using First DayPorts

In conjunction with its unveiling of the first five DayPort locations in Florida this week, DayJet also announced the start of its "Day-Tripper" contest.

The contest invites business travelers flying between Boca Raton, Gainesville, Lakeland, Pensacola and Tallahassee to submit their accounts online (at the FMI link below) of business travel within the state of Florida, and how they could benefit from the ability to conduct day trips utilizing DayJet "Per-Seat, On-Demand" jet service.

The "DayTripper" contest will run from June 14, 2006 through August 15, 2006. DayJet will judge submitted stories and select the three most challenging business travel tales for each of the five launch markets that best articulate the professional and personal benefits from conducing day trips. Three winners will be selected from each market, for a total of 15 winners.

The first-place winner in each market will receive a free year’s membership in the DayJet network and a round-trip for up to three people (using the entire aircraft) to any place where DayJet flies in Florida. The second-place winner in each market will receive a free DayJet membership and a round-trip "Per-Seat, On-Demand" flight for one person to any DayPort, while the third-place winner in each market will receive a free year’s membership in the DayJet network.

No purchase is required to enter the "Day-Tripper" contest.

"DayJet 'Per-Seat, On-Demand' jet service is a rare business tool that can simultaneously improve productivity and quality-of-life," said José Carreiro, DayJet vice president of sales and marketing. "This unique travel service enables business travelers to travel efficiently, doing more business in less time and turning trips that used to take multiple days into day trips."

"Less stress, less wasted time and more time with friends and family makes business people more productive and happier at the same time," Carreiro added. "It’s about time Floridians enjoyed work success without sacrificing quality-of-life."

DayJet Corporation is the pioneer in the air taxi market, offering "per-seat, on-demand" jet service uniquely tailored to each customer’s individual schedule, and priced at a modest premium to full-fare coach airfares.

Headquartered in Delray Beach, FL DayJet will fly the Eclipse 500 very light jet (VLJ) aircraft.
