Facilities Located In Florida And California

Christine McGlade and Andrew W. Reynolds have been named vice presidents of manufacturing operations and site managers for the Northrop Grumman's aircraft integration centers of excellence in St. Augustine, FL, and Palmdale, CA, respectively.

In her new role, McGlade (pictured) will be responsible for managing and integrating all manufacturing and support operations at the St. Augustine site in coordination with the company's various aircraft programs and other functional organizations. For the immediate future, she also will lead production of the E-2 Hawkeye aircraft. The site produces, modifies, repairs and overhauls military aircraft and subassemblies.

McGlade joined the company in 1986 and has experience in manufacturing, logistics and program management roles at multiple sites across the corporation. Most recently, she served as program director for the St. Augustine site's E-2/C-2 international programs, and as deputy program director for Navy E-2D production. She earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of New York University and a master's degree in business administration from Adelphi University in New York.

Reynolds will manage and integrate all manufacturing and support operations at the Palmdale site in coordination with the manufacturing center's multiple programs and functional organizations. The site assembles, integrates, tests and maintains some of the world's most advanced aircraft, including the F-35, B-2 Spirit and RQ-4 Global Hawk. For the immediate future, Reynolds also will continue to serve in his current role as the production leader for Northrop Grumman Aerospace System's portion of the F-35 program.

Reynolds (pictured) brings more than 25 years of experience in manufacturing and production operations to his new role. His previous assignments include director of manufacturing operations and deputy site manager for the Palmdale site. He earned a bachelor's degree in business management from Sonoma State University and is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles Executive Management Program.

The appointments follow the company's March designation of the St. Augustine and Palmdale sites as centers of excellence, part of Northrop Grumman's overall approach to improving its strategic alignment with its customers' need for increasingly innovative and affordable products, services and solutions.

"These sites are unique. St. Augustine produces the entire E-2D Hawkeye from start to finish and supports a number of other programs. Palmdale produces critical elements of several significant manned and unmanned aircraft, and is the home of the groundbreaking F-35 Integrated Assembly Line. Each site's mission presents its own challenges and opportunities, and Chris and Andy will lead both teams very well.
