RedBird Sim Arrives At Norwood Memorial Airport In MA

First Full Motion GA Sim In The New England Area

New England has received its first Red Bird full motion simulator, installed at Norwood Memorial Airport (KOWD) in Norwood, MA. As Red Bird's techs wrapped up the first full day of installation at Wild Blue Simulators, Norwood Instrument Proficiency Academy's Chief Flight Instructor, Radek Wyrzykowski, said CFIs in the area are looking forward to being checked out in the latest technology. "I am so excited to bring Red Bird's Scenario Based Training to my students here at the NIPA," he said. "Such a visceral experience combined with the flexibility to start, stop and change the flight at will, is going to be an invaluable asset to our instrument proficiency training."

Red Bird technology is being provided by Wild Blue Simulators. Owner and CEO Steve Sullivan said, "I am happy to make these services available to all qualified instructors in the New England area. I think this is going to be a strategic game changer for flight schools that avail themselves of our services."

Wild Blue Simulators says it is planning an open house in the near future, likely early October, and is inviting CFIs from across New England to come and test fly the new simulator.
