Superior, Inc. wanted
you to know about the recent appointment of Edwin Beall as their
new Vice President, Supply Management. Bernie Coleman, President
and CEO announced, "Edwin's experience in supply chain management
is a huge asset to Superior's increasing engine production demands,
and we couldn't be more pleased with Edwin's return to the Superior
team."
Beall's progressive career has focused on the
Supply Chain and Operations Management fields, with the majority of
his career tied to the mining equipment, automotive, aviation and
defense industries. In 1989, Edwin joined Superior as Director,
Materials Management and was later appointed Vice President,
Materials Management. He left Superior in 1995 and entered the
Supply Chain consulting field. As Senior Principal with Technology
Solutions Company, he assisted clients such as Chevron/Texaco,
Exxon/Mobil, TRW and American Cancer Society with various Supply
Chain initiatives. Beall holds a BBA degree from Texas A&M
University - Commerce.
As Vice President, Supply Management, Beall is responsible for
Superior's procurement, product planning and warehouse operations.
Additional responsibilities include implementing the infrastructure
and business processes to support Superior's new engine production
facility. The production facility opened in April 2003 to produce
Superior's XP-360 EngineTM ,
manufactured for the sport aviation market, and the SV-360 that is
being type certified for the New Aircraft and Supplemental Type
Certificate markets.
